Coventry home start to the season continued as they scored late on to beat AFC Wimbledon 2-1.

started brightly and were rewarded after Liam Walsh fouled Michael Folivi in the box following Coventry were captured short playing out of the trunk. Marcus Forss awakened to put Wimbledon forward after eight minutes in the penalty.
Coventry equalised through Jordy Hiwula after 28 minutes. He rounded the keeper and A pass from Jordan Shipley put Hiwula one on one with Nathan Trott and finished for his fourth goal of theseason.
Coventry had the vast majority of the ball from the second half but they failed to make it count until late when Bristol City loanee Liam Walsh set the home side ahead deep.
The midfielder drilled a shot beyond Trott in the minute following a clever one-two with Shipley again the supplier.
The win signifies Coventry remain top of League One, their 100 per cent home record.
