2019 Breeders’ Cup Classic Odds: McKinzie the Early Betting Favorite
The Breeders' Cup is less than two weeks away, and now is the time to start looking at the early as the two-day tournament event approaches of racing.
The Breeders' Cup will be held at Santa Anita on November 1-2, with 14 championship races and $30 million in bags up for grabs. For horseplayers it's the holy grail of racing, and together with betting pools to earn a score that is life-changing.
The marquee race of the championship event is that the 6-million Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) where we will observe three-year-olds that competed in Triple Crown races take to their elders from the handicap division.
The Vintage of this year looks wide open using all the Bob Baffert-trained McKinzie the current betting favorite at Bovada at +450.

McKinzie was a disappointing 12th??in last year's edition of the Classic as a three-year-old. The colt has created five starts this year, winning twice with three endings.
The colt won the Whitney (G1) at Saratoga on August??3 in his final start. His final preparation for this season's Classic likely will arrive in the Awesome Again (G1) at Santa Anita on September??28.
Code of Honor is the alternative in early Breeders' Cup Classic wagering odds at Bovada in +600. Trained by Hall of Famer Shug McGaughey, the colt won the Travers (G1) at Saratoga in his last outing on August??24
for his first Grade 1 victory.
After becoming placed second at the Kentucky Derby (G1), the colt won the Dwyer Stakes (G3) in his final start before taking the Travers.
His second outing probably will come from the Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1) at Belmont Park on September??28. That would be his first test against older runners. His relations could elect to run in the Pennsylvania Derby (G1) in Parx Racing if they wanted to stick with his branch for yet another beginning.
Maximum Security, that had become the first horse at the history of the Kentucky Derby (G1) for disqualified in the triumph for hindrance, is the second choice in ancient Breeders' Cup Classic betting at Bovada at +800.
The Jason Servis trainee was defeated since the heavy betting favorite in the Pegasus in his second start but bounced back with an impressive victory at the Haskell Invitational (G1) at Monmouth Park on July 20 in his last start.
The colt will make his final prep for the Classic from the Pennsylvania Derby.
Thunder Snow and game Winner will be the options in Breeders' Cup Classic wagering at +1000.
The Baffert-trained Sport Winner won his first four starts last year, such as winning the Breeders' Cup Juvenile (G1). However, his three-year-old campaign started with three reductions, including a fifth at the Kentucky Derby, before winning the Los Alamitos Derby (G3) in his last trip on July 13.
After spiking a fever the colt overlooked the Travers along with Baffert hasn't dedicated the coltbut he could create the Pennsylvania Derby. Baffert has Improbable and Mucho Gusto who can make the visit to Parx Racing.
Thunder Snow has earned $16.5 million into his career and has a set of Dubai World Cup (G1) drops under his belt. He ran in last year's Classic.
It looks as though he'll take the same route he did last year to get to the Classic. He was third in the Jockey Club Gold Cup and seems likely to prep in this year's version.
1 intriguing competition to??watch on is your mare Elate, who may take about the boys at the Classic instead of moving in the Breeders' Cup Distaff (G1). She's now recorded at while she's +600 for the Distaff.
The mare was second from the Personal Ensign (G1) in her final start at Saratoga on August??24, beaten a nose by Midnight Bisou, who's the first wagering favorite for the Breeders' Cup Distaff??at +350.
There are just two Breeders' Cup Challenge"Win and You Are In" races left for the Classic. The winners of Awesome Again and the Jockey Club Gold Cup each make an automatic starting berth in the area.
